Upright / Reversed
The Hanged Man shows waiting, surrender, suspended action, and a new perspective. In love, someone is unable or unwilling to move yet.
Waiting becomes resentment, avoidance, or sacrifice with no purpose. Someone stays stuck because changing would cost too much pride.
